adivO alladivO

In this exhilarating song, Annamaiah describes the abode of Venkateswara on the Tirupati Hill. He further says that the divine experience on that holiest place bestows salvation to one and all.

P
adivO alladivO sri harivasamu
padi vEla SEshula paDagala mayamu||

Look there. It is the abode of Sri Hari. AIt is the spectacle of ten thousand hoods of a Sesha serpent.

C1
ade vEnkaTAchala makhilOnnatamu
adivO brahmAdula kapuroopamu
adivO nitya nivAsa makhila munulaku
nade chooDu Dade mrokkuDu Ananda mayamu ||

That is the top most Venkatachalam. That is the most favorite of Brahma and other gods. That is the eternal abode of all sages. See that, bow, it is all bliss.

C2
chengaTa nalladivO SEshachalamu
ningi nunna dEvatala nija vAsamu
mungiTa nalladivO moola nunna dhanamu
bangAru SikharAla bahu brahma mayamu ||

There is Seshachalam nearby. It is the abode of gods in the sky. In its front, see the treasure of golden towers of Brahman the supreme consciousness.

C3
kaivalya padamu vEnkata nagamadivO
sri vEnkaTa patiki sirulainadi
bhavimpa sakala sampada roopamadivO
pAvana mula kella pAvana mayamu ||

That is the place for salvation. That is the hill of Venkatesa. That is the embodiment of wealth. That is the holiest of the holy.
