nitya pooja

In this song, Annamacharya considers his body itself is temple and the functions of sensory organs as various services to Lord Venkatesa.

Here is my regular worship to my lord in front of me.

C1
tanuvE guDi yaTa talayE SikharamaTa
penu hrudayamE hari peeThamaTa
kanu kona choopulE ghana deepamulaTa
tana lOpali antaryAmikini ||

Body itself is a temple and head is its tower. His graceful glances are like temple lamps to one's conscience.

C2
palukE mantramaTa pAdaina nAlikE
kala kala manu piDi ghanTa yaTa
naluvaina ruchulE naivEdyamulaTa
talapu lOpala nunna daivamunaku ||

Speech itself is Mantra. The buzz of world is like ringing sound of bells. All good tastes are offerings to the God in one's inner self.

C3
gamana chEshTalE anta ranga gati yaTa
tamigala jeevuDE dAsuDaTa
amarina voorpulE yAla paTTamulaTa
kramamutO Sree vEnkatarAyaniki ||

All movements and actions are expressions of conscience. This life is for His service. Deep sighs are like fans to Lord Venkataraya.
