kaDaluDipi neerADaga

In this Padam Annamaiah eulogises that spiritual life is not possible so long as fascination for worldly desires remains.

How foolish it is to think of bathing in sea after the waves subside? Where is the end for for mind's craving?

Some want to know the spiritual truths only after their thirst for physical desires is satiated. How can one become spiritual unless he is free from woridly cravings? As long as there is attachment to body desires grow. How can then one enjoys real bliss?

One may say that after realising the nature of divinity, he would forget his attachment to physical pleasures. Can one who is accostomed to worldly pleasures give up them? Only the one who realises the beauty of Sri Venkatesa's compassion is truly fortunate. Nothing is better even in a dream.
